PERSONAL CAREGIVER

POSITION SUMMARY:

Primary function is to provide non-health care related services to the client in their place of residence or a facility; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with client and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. High School Diploma preferred
  2. Must have current drivers’ license and reliable transportation to travel to assignments.
  3. One year experience preferred.
  4. Must be able to read and write in English and follow written and verbal instructions in English effectively.
    Demonstrates interest in the welfare of ill and elderly.
  5. Hepatitis B consent/declination required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provides companionship to client and an environment which promotes respect for client’s privacy and property.
  2. Reports changes in client’s condition or unusual occurrences to the Supervisor.
  3. Adheres to Lyxx Care LLC policies and procedures, as well as, safety guidelines.
  4. Provide personal care tasks to client according to the Individual Service Plan.
  5. Assists patients with meal planning and preparation.
  6. Provides medication reminders.
  7. Promotes positive, supportive, respectful communication to patient/family and other employees.
  8. Provides a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
  9. Demonstrates commitment, professional growth and competency through attending required in-services
  10. Demonstrates effective time management skills.
  11. Practice accepted infection control principles
  12. Provide light cleaning for the patient such as vacuuming, dish washing, laundry etc randomly/routinely as stated in plan.

JOB CONDITIONS:

Prolonged standing and walking required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines, to identify patient needs,to make quick decisions and meet patient/family psycho social needs. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Works in patient’s homes in various conditions, possible exposure to blood and body fluids and infectious diseases; ability to work flexibly schedule, ability to travel locally; some exposure to unpleasant weather.

HOME CLEANER

POSITION SUMMARY:

Primary function is to provide house keeping services to the client in their place of residence or a facility; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, and work cooperatively with client and family.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  2. Must have current driver license and a reliable means of transportation.
  3. Housekeeping experience preferred.
  4. Must be able to read and write in English and follow written and verbal instructions in English effectively.
  5. Demonstrates interest in the welfare of ill and elderly.
  6. Hepatitis B consent/declination required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provide general housekeeping activities as requested by client/family for a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
  2. Clean kitchen, bathroom, and launder clothing and linens.
  3. Vacuum, sweeps, and mops floor surfaces, as well as, dispose of garbage and trash, as appropriate.
  4. Extensively wipe down surfaces.
  5. Demonstrate effective time management skills.
  6. Report unsafe conditions and problems to agency management.
  7. Demonstrates commitment, professional growth and competency through attending required in-services.
  8. Promote positive, supportive, respectful communication to patient/family and other employees.
  9. Areas a limited to only the interiors and balconies. Out doors are not included.

SALES SPECIALIST

POSITION SUMMARY:

Promote the business and grow the business through extensive coordinated marketing and networking.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Minimum of an associate degree in business or marketing field required.
  2. Must have current drivers’ license and reliable transportation to travel to assignments.
  3. One year experience required.
  4. Must be able to read, write and type in English fluently; and follow written and verbal instructions in English effectively.
  5. Hepatitis B consent/declination required. Demonstrates interest in the welfare of ill and elderly.
  6. Vibrant, active listener and communicator. Good sense of humor.
  7. Excellent time management and persuasive skills.
  8. Very organized and always eager to learn and improve on skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Promote and grow business by generating and following up with leads.
  2. Prepare weekly and monthly reports to the administrator.
  3. Sort out and engage in promotional activities for the organization; including but not limited to hosting sales events, presentations to intending clients, and their representatives.
  4. Adheres to Lyxx Care LLC policies and procedures, as well as, safety guidelines.
  5. Meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  6. Negotiating contracts with prospective clients.
  7. Ensuring contracts are being maintained and fostered.
  8. Promotes positive, supportive, respectful communication to patient/family and other employees.
  9. Represents the administrator at sales meetings where necessary.
  10. Demonstrates commitment, professional growth and competency through attending required in-services.
  11. Demonstrates effective time management skills.
  12. Practice accepted infection control principles.

JOB CONDITIONS:
